PT.Malang Post Cemerlang constitutes an enterprise ( company) which produces Malang Posst Morning Daily Newspaper. In the last several months, PT.Malang Posst Cemerlang has a problem that is, newspaper which is produced too much, so expired product is still higher. Therefore, the enterprise (company) needs the best of production planning system. Beside that, it also needs controlling for raw material of newspaper atself, so that there are not stokout for each items which consist of paper, black ink, yellow ink, magenta ink, cyan ink, and plat cetak. Hopefule, the production planning and stock controlling can increase the benefit of interprise(company). The method that is used to solve this problem is estabilishment the toltal of the optimal production of newspaper in everyday, that is, newsboy problem model. Thus model specifically is used for planning the production of product which cannot be saved (perishable product). Compare to stock controlly of raw material uses Material Requirement Planning (MRP) wih enterprise (company) previous method, that is, Fixed Peviod Requirement (FRP), also suggestion method uses lot sizing wagner within method. From the result of calculation is found that enterprise (company) suggestion system only produoes 4.926 exemplar/ day or 147.780 exemplar/ month. However, plan order and total order each raw material items use suggestion method, that is, lot sizing wagner within. Because of the optimal of the total production calculation, the plan order and total order of the best raw material items. The enterprise (company) face to reduction/ decreasion of the productionï¿½s cost for about Rp 2.220.000,-/month. In addition, the orders cost of raw material face the reductin for about Rp 4.843.100,-/month, so the enterprise(company) get the increase of profit for about 6,83%.
