Abstract

Lean production is a method to improve Lean production is a method to improve business responsiveness through waste reduction. Variations and dependence is sometimes overlooked in the application of lean production efforts. The study discusses the final project planning improvements to the lean production processes to minimize waste production efforts on the application of Lean Production production systems that can identify the wastethat occurs in the manufacturing process to improve the productivity of company. Researchers using the concept of productivity approach, VALSAT, Big Picture Mapping, Borda method, Ishikawa diagram, 5W-1H Principle. Researchers began the study with review of the concept of lean manufacturing with lean thinking mindset. As the application of lean production effort, researchers identify the data flow of information and material contained on production systems by using the Big Picture mapping, and identify existing waste VALSAT. After the waste can be identified then calculated how the productivity of the company. The next step is to recommend solutions to the production process From the results of later research found anything just waste a lot going on and what is the value of the company's labor productivity. The proposed improvements are used to reduce the waste that has been identified and produced proposals for the improvement of waste reduction that often occurs in the production process.
