This research aims to know the effect of composition of media and kind of fertilizer on the growth of adenium. The result of this experiment was expected to grue contribution obout information of using the composition of media and kind of fertilizer toward the the process of growing the vegetative of adenium. The hypothesis was estimated be found the effect of significant interaction between the composition of media and kind of fertilizer on growth of adenium. The Assumption of the composition of media or kind of fertilizer toward on vegetatif growth of adenium. The research was conducted in Mulyoagung Dau Malang between Agustus until Novenber 2006. The elevated place about 560 m dpl. The equipment used in this research included plastic pot, analytical weighs, ruler, jangka sorong, beaker glass, sprayer, palstic, book and balpoint. The materials used were seedling of adenium, sand, sekam charcoal, NPK fertilizer, dekastar, deskastar plus, insecticide and fungiside. This research used the factorial randomized blok design (RBD) with tree replication. The first faktor is composition of media consisted of three levels: M1 composition of media (sand: sekam charcoal:organic fertilizer=1:1:1), M2 (sand: sekam charcoal:organic fertilizer=2:1:1), M3 (sand:sekam charcoal:organic fertilizer=3:1:1), and the second factor was kind of fertilizer with four levels: P0: no fertilizer (control), P1 : NPK mutiara fertilizer, P2: dekastar fertilizer, and P3: dekastar plus fertilizer. Result of the research showed that there were significant interaction between the treatment variable at the plant height and the leaf number. The combination this good treatment was M3P3 for plant height and M1P3 for leaf number. The best composition of media was M1 (sand:sekam charcoal:organic fertilizer=1:1:1). The treatment kind of fertilizer had significant on the bonggol diameter and leaf number. dekastar plus fertilizer show result of which is better to be compared than the NPK mutiara or dekastar fertilizer.
