Abstract
Anthurium was one of interesting leaf decorative crop type because of its beautiful leaf pattern and form. Conventional propagation of Anthurium, is a time consume process, and less of uniformly result. One of the methods may be used to propagate anthurium uniformly in a lot of number is by culture in vitro. This research was aimed to study the influence of NAA and BAP balanced at media of Murashige and Skoog and to formulate a better balance of NAA and BAP toward shoot and root induction of Anthurium longilinguum explan by in vitro This research was conducted at Mitra Anggrek Indonesia laboratory, Batu – Malang, from April until December 2007. This research was arranged in Simply Complete Randomized Design. The observations started at 2 weeks after planting on once a week interval, with parameters : percentage of callus, time of shoot initiation, number of shoot, number of leaf, root initiation, number and colour of root eksplan. The result shows, quickest shoot initiation revealed by the combination of NAA 0,5 ppm + BAP 1,5 ppm (3,6), NAA 0 ppm + BAP 2 ppm showed highest number of shoot (4,6), highest number of leaves (3,4) showed at eksplan with NAA 0 ppm + BAP 2 ppm, quickest root initiation (2,5) at eksplan with combination of NAA 1ppm + BAP 1 ppm, highest number of root (1,4) at eksplan with NAA 0,5 ppm+ BAP 1,5 ppm. While percentage of emerge callus 100% at eksplan with NAA 0 ppm+ BAP 2 ppm and eksplan browning 80% at NAA 2 ppm + BAP 0 ppm It is concluded that the level of NAA and BAP combination shows the trend of difference effect on formed of shoot, callus, and root of Anthurium longilinguum eksplan.
