Abstract

Bank have very important role in economics a state. Bank position in economics system is as monetary medium institution (Financial Intermeditary). Bank have strategic role in pushing growth of economics, so that need construction effort, observation and development for the shake of executing of mission of agent development of. This mission will reach to through fund management of kept by society is bank to be channelled in the form of loan to other society specially at real sector. Biggest portion of earnings of governmental public bank and also private sector public bank still depend on acceptance of loan flower through real saktor which defrayed. The following Problem formula : (1) How banking efficiency storey;level which is public go in Effect Exchange of Jakarta of year 2001 up to year 2006 if/when seen with approach of input of output? (2) How relation between to the number of bank office of branch, amount of absorbent labour to banking sector efficiency storey; level? This Research object is Public Bank which is listed in Effect Exchange of Jakarta in this research in Effect Exchange of Jakarta counted 16 bank during year 2001-2006. Analysis which is used in this research is: (1) Measuring two size measure able to be used to know efficiency storey; level orient banking input that is: (a) Ratio Operating Cost to Totalizeing Assets (b) Ratio Operating Cost to Net Incame (2) To know influence of free variable (X) to variable tied (Y), hence used by analysis with method of regresi panel data. Three technique which commonly use to estimate regresi with panel data, that is: (a) Comman effect (b) Fixed effect (c) Random effect. Pursuant to result of research can be concluded as follows: 1.Result of calculation of operating expenses to totalizeing asset show natural Bank is make-up of storey; level of inefisiensi. This matter indicate that operating expenses from year to year show tendency storey;level progressively mount or tend to inefficiently 2.Result of calculation of operating expenses to Net Incame have downhill tendency. Matter this means released operating expenses height to be followed with make-up of earnings. Seen from technique of random effect obtained by calculation of operating expenses to incame net indicate that natural bank of degradation of efficiency storey;level, 3.Result of calculation of interest net of incame to totalizeing assets from year to year its of natural him of tendency mount so that mount natural bank efficiency is make-up of efficiency, but later; then have tendency of stagnan so that do not experience of improvement and also degradation of efficiency storey; level 4.From result of calculation of regresi between result of calculation of input analysis with amount of employees amount and branch do not show the existence of influence meaning signifikan 5.Result of calculation of regresi of amount of branch and employees to analysis of output also show the existence of influence which do not signifikan.
