From 52 realia, there were 17 realia translated by using maintenance strategy. Consequently, it can be seen that the most dominant strategy is maintenance strategy. In addition, the underlying reasons behind the choice of the most dominant strategy according to the translators were: (1) there were several terms which did not exist in English, thus she chose to unchanged the realia, (2) the translator did not need to give more explanation because realia made her easier and faster during the translation process, (3) it retained cultural specific element.
