Abstract

There are many reasons why people use drugs. Through various reasons, it emerges that the core problem of drug abuse is a person's well-being and knowledge of their potential, which is recognized as eudaimonic psychological well-being. Out of the 127 rehabilitation clients handled by the rehabilitation field of the National Narcotics Board of West Nusa Tenggara Province (BNNP NTB), 124 people are clients with relapse conditions. Relapse is preceded by a tendency where the client has a desire or inclination to use drugs after or while undergoing the rehabilitation process. This research aimed to find the correlation between eudaimonic psychological well-being and relapse tendency in clients of BNNP NTB. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach with a correlational method, where the sample is rehabilitation clients of BNNP NTB who are or have experienced relapse. The population sampling in this research is 124 people. This research used two instruments, which are the Questionnaire of Eudaimonic Well-Being and the Stimulant Relapse Risk Scale. The research found that eudaimonic psychological well-being has a significant negative relationship (r=-0.610; p<0.001). It indicates that the higher the value of eudaimonic psychological well-being, the lower the relapse tendency. The contribution of eudaimonic psychological well-being to relapse tendency is 37.2%.
