Abstract

In course of study of mathematics still is often met by the existence of tendency less involvement of student. Domination teacher in course of study of cause of tendency of student have the character of passive await project from teacher than searching and finding by self knowledge, skill, or attitude which they require. One of the model study of which can assist student in improving activity is model study of participative teaching and learning. Model of participative teaching and learning represent study model by entangling educative participant actively in the plan, execution, and study evaluation. This formula research internal issue is how activity learn and student during taking place study process it by using model of participative teaching and learning at study of mathematics, how result or complete learn student by using model of participative teaching and learning at study of mathematics, and any kind of resistances in study of mathematics by using model of participative teaching and learning. As according to formula is problem of, researcher use approach qualitative have the character of descriptively. Source of data in this research is class mathematics study area teacher of VII D and class student of VII D SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu. Method data collecting the used is observation, tes, and enquette. Collected data in the form of activity sheet teacher and student, complete learn student, and resistances in study of mathematics by using model of participative teaching and learning. Result of activity learn during study of mathematics by using model of participative teaching and learning indicate that activity learn in watching and guiding student have is good enough, teacher give question to student still very less, teacher explain items in front of class still very less, and teacher let student draping self at group also pertained very less, while for the activity of student in obtained by partisipative study of student activity which are positive equal to 73,53%, while student activity which tend to negativity that is equal to 26,47%. By clasical study of mathematics by using model of participative teaching and learning is complete. While by indidual there is still 7 student people which not yet is complete.
