Abstract
Conduct Disorder in children was a repeating and staying behavior, interrupting another person’s rights and social norms with onset before 10 years. Like snapping, threatening, or intimidating somebody’s else, playing truant often, out at night thought the parents forbid him and started before 13 years old. Often, the conduct disorder also signed by cruelness and lack of regret. The effect could cause anti-social in the near future and effected in family and social relationship, study disturbance and the most important, influenced the next development if not seriously handled. The research aimed to find out the etiology of conduct disorder to the children who has conduct disorder. The subject were 2 children with conduct disorder. This research was qualitative descriptive. Data collection method used was interview and observation, data validity used triangulation by source. From the research, could be found that etiology of conduct disorder in children consisted of three factor related in causing the conduct disorder to both subjects. The three factors were : 1) Predisposing risk factor, in this thing, father subject who has temperamental, emotional, and egoistic behavior ; 2) Risk factor, in this research, un-supporting and un-harmonic family condition, disorder which caused by parents fighting, and the wrong development pattern by parents in both subjects ; (3) Precipitating event, factor caused the disturbance behavior. In subject 1 because of parents divorcing, and in subject 2, because of his sister birth, and the parents paid more attention to subjects’ sister made the subject feel lack attention and love compared with subject’s sister and the influence from subject’s friends.
