Type of this research is survey research, where the researcher makes observation in collecting data. Researcher takes notes for data as the way it is, further he analyzes and interprets them. It is taken place in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri (Wisma KIE, Jl. Paku Aji Kav. 79, Bontang of East Kalimantan) under the title of “The Effect of Job Training on Technical Division Staffs’ Work Performance in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri Bontang of East Kalimantan”. Purpose of this research is to know employee’s job training, to know employee’s work performance, and to know whether job training has significant effect on Technical Division staffs’ work performance in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri Bontang of East Kalimantan. Utility to be gained is, especially for the company, it can be used as consideration materials in making decision and in further development of PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri. Analysis instrument used in this research is simple linear regression, scale-span, and T-test. Based on the research results and discussion, it can be drawn a conclusion that employee’s job training in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri Bontang of East Kalimantan includes in good category. Its employee’s work performance in technical division includes in high category. There is significant effect between work-force training and technical division staffs’ work performance in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri Bontang of East Kalimantan. From regression equation, it is obtained regression coefficient for training variable of 0.814. It is supported by hypothesis testing result using T-test, where its Ttable is 2.042 and Tcount is 9.789. It means that H0 is rejected and Hi is accepted. From those results, it can be concluded that employee’s job training is affected significantly on technical division staffs’ work performance in PT. Kaltim Daya Mandiri Bontang of East Kalimantan. From the conclusion above, hence it is proposed some suggestions: it is expected that the company maintains its applied job training system, thus besides employee have attitude and sense of responsibility on their job, they also have wide knowledge about the occurred development. Based on determination coefficient (R2) value, it can be known that 25% technical division staffs’ work performance is affected by another variable. For the next researcher, it is expected to accomplish it by using another variable affecting employee’s work performance, such as compensation, work-stress, work environment, organization culture, and so on, so that the research will be developed.
