Abstract

Listening is a complex learning process that related to other skills. In order to improve the students' listening achievement, the materials should be presented by using an interested media. In this present study, the writer used 'wondershare' quiz creator as a media in teaching listening for eight grade students. It purposed to investigate whether the role of 'wondershare' quiz creator might influence students' achievement in listening skill or not at MTs. Surya Buana Malang. In conducting this study, the writer used quasi-experimental research design. The writer started to collect the data by conducting a try out, in order to know the validity, reliability, level of difficulty and the discrimination power of the instrument. Furthermore, t-test was used in this present study in order to know the result of the role of 'wondershare' quiz creator. The result of this study showed that there was a positive significant effect on students' listening achievement. The result was supported by the result of the computation of independent sample t-test. It was found that p-value was lower than significance level (α), which means that alternative hypothesis (Hi) is accepted. In conclusion, the role of 'wondershare'quiz creator can enhance students' achievement in listening skill at MTs. Surya Buana Malang.
