Satisfaction of customer represent very important matter in industry these days. To increase the quality of product a company have to earn to lessen arising out defect at product. Make up of hand in glove quality its bearing with attainment of good performance efficiency. Performance efficiency can reach with correction of process work to pass the make-up of the quality of related or relevant factors, that is SDM, raw material, applied activity process, machine and others. Tiredly of good performance efficiency, company also can improve its productivity, so that same during company can yield output which is more which relate at the recovery of company's finance. PT. Nasional Djawa Kulit represent leather factory of area equation of husk with output in the form of husk which have product or chop become for the product of shoe. Company with system produce order job claimed to be more focus to quality of yielded product. Unaccording to product with order will yield reject of product which have been sent to cutomer. Conception Six Sigma can assist company to overcome the problem, that is by lessening the amount of defect pass operation at production process so that performance efficiency will mount. Applying of Six Sigma at PT. Nasional Djawa Kulit conducted by using approach of DMAIC ( define, measure, analyze, improve, and control ). This research is focussed by product equation of husk, this determination because of considerations of existence of to the number of defect at product resulting ugly performance efficiency. Of obtained to be document’s to be found that in course of Split show the percentage of biggest defect during August until October 2007. Therefore measurement of performance efficiency focussed by process of Split. Internal data of company in period of August until October 2007 showing there are 3 biggest defect at process of Split that is husk rip, periphery rip’s, and size measure not standart. In August process Split have sigma kapabilitas equal to 3,51 and s of DPMO equal to 22.097,58. In September process Split have lower sigma kapabilitas equal to 3,36 and s of DPMO equal to 31.226,22. In October process Split have sigma kapabilitas which mounting equal to 3,52 and s of DPMO equal to 21.311,2. The condition a long way off from usah goals and of Six Sigma wishing zero defect. But with strong komitmen of company surely will earn to reach the goals. Performance efficiency in December equal to 38,55 %, its indicator of earnings go up, storey, level of defect go down, profit mount, and performance efficiency progressively goodness.
