Abstract
Along with technology development, especially in communication information, religious proselytizing message was not only done by ‘mubaligh’ in mosques, but it could be done by many ways and many places. Among various media used in this era, there was movie. Movie has significant role in religious proselytizing, since the religious proselytizing would not reach the target if not assimilate and accommodate behavior, culture and social condition. What people love and do would be ideal media for religious proselytizing. In psychology, ovie could serve alive message and decreasing doubt about what presented, easier to remember and decreasing negligence. “AyatAyat Cinta” movie offered new thing in Indonesian movie world, the religious roman movie was a right step in sending religious proselytizing message from artworld, especially movie, in accordance with the lack of movie with religious proselytizing theme, but this movie able to absorb people’s interest with creative presentation format and innovation in technical. The movie aimed to find out the content of religious proselytizing message in AyatAyat Cinta movie. The research used descriptive type with quantitative approach, analytical unit in this research was scene containing religious proselytizing message, which in “AyatAyat Cinta” movie put in the stated categorization using tabulationfrequence. Data analysis from the “AyatAyat Cinta” could be concluded that the total frequency were 122 times. Faith had 27 times frequency. (22,13%), Mores has frequency 42 times (34,42%), and social people has 37 times (30,32%), Syariah Category was shown up 16 times (13,11%). According to the research from religious proselytizing categories decided in “AyatAyat Cinta” movie. They were faith, moral, social, and syari’ah which showed that “AyatAyat Cinta” movie has been dominant in stating their religious proselytizing message related with more / akhlak.
