Abstract

The latest predictive maintenance is measure the vibrating character at domain time or domain frequency that happen on radial direction. Next, this method apply to economically condition base maintenance (Suharjono, 2005). So, that’s way a device to learning about vibration is needed, as a basic understanding the vibration phenomenon that happen on a system. Generally, tester device on a vibration on a vibration sector that use digitally technology still very exspensive. A device to experiment free vibration 2 DOF which use simple component and cheap already finished. But, those device still have awakeness, there is the sampling still using analog instrument, the data was record on a paper using pencil that stick on pendulum. The development that needed on those device is change the data analog to digital, so the sampling process become faster than before, eliminate errors and make the data processing easier. Data acquisition system that make using potentiometer sensor, signal conditioning by gain amplifier non inverting, the convert of analog data to digital (ADC) and the transfer data to computer done by ATMEGA 8535L microcontroller while the sampling and the processing of data done by application that build on computer use C++ Builder 6 compiler and Matlab. The frequency sampling of instrument is ± 45 Hz.
