Abstract
This research is a study case on PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited), Tbk entitled “Analysis Of CAMEL As A Means Of Measurement Of Storey;Level Health Of Bank. on PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited) Tbk”. Purpose of this research is to know the health of Bank Rakyat Indonesia with regard to CAMEL ratio analysis, for period of 2001 to 2003. Result of this research shows that in general PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited) Tbk has maximum credit value. On capital aspect assessed by CAR ratio, its value always exceeds CAR minimum limit determined by Bank Indonesia, thas is 8%. On asset aspect, Bank BRI tries to be selective and to increase its assets in order not to be included in problematic category. On management aspect which isn't it with NPM, from year to year always experience of degradation. This matter indicate that Bank BRI acquirement of Bank net profit of BRI less optimal. On earning aspect, bank BRI has ability to increaseits profit and performance. On liquidity aspect, it shows that funding of Bank BRI doesn’t depend on other banks. From result of CAMEL aspect calculation, as a whole it can be said that in general the health of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Limited) Tbk is in enough healthy condition. This can be seen from total credit value on 2004 by 75,71, on 2005 by 75,02 and on 2006 by 75,60.
