Abstract

It is now clear that today’s students think and process information differently from their predecessors. It happens because the student’s brain has physically changed. Teacher is the most influential person, therefore, she or he has to be able to apply various teaching strategies to make the student interested in learning English. And by using technology the teachers can bring a significant influence on the development of education. The purpose of this study is to know the digitality levels of Elementary School English Teachers I SDN Dawuhan Sengon I Purwodadi – Pasuruan. The research design in this research is descriptive quantitative research. The subject research was 2 of English teachers of Elementary school in SDN Dawuhan Sengon I Purwodadi – Pasuruan. To collect the data, the writer used rating scale as the instrument. The finding of the research was the mean score of the digitality levels of Elementary School English Teachers in SDN Dawuhan Sengon I was 69.3. The result of the rating scale showed that there were 1 English Teachers got score between 85 up to 100 (Very High), another one of English teacher categorize on “High levels”, then 11 student’s commented on teachers got score between 70 up to 84; it means categorized in “ High “. Then, 16 student’s commented on teachers got score 55 up to 69; it means categorized in “Fair “. The result of the study showed that the digitality levels of Elementary School English Teachers in SDN Dawuhan Sengon I was “Fair “. It can be seen from the mean score of the digitality levels of Elementary School English Teachers that was 63.9.
