Abstract
Arrangement of facility produce of would tightly of the bearing with material sweetener activity. Sweetener activity of material is an activity which is absolute although does not give benefit at material processed. Material activity handling also requires time and cost that is generally not a few. Therefore, planning of layout produce of required carefully to gives material sweetener frequency effectiveness. This research aim to reach perfection of new warehouse layout that the problems can do finalized. Data applied obtained by performing an observation directly about things relating to problem that will do checked and noted systematically and does documentation by collecting documents relating to research. The data do analyzed by using block diagram analysis. Result of research indicates that KUD Dau fodder plant layout is not accurate where to do sweetener of material produce of inter department of activity, distance required unsatisfying efficient causing requires relative time of stripper. Result of calculation and stimulates to get optimal plant layout with minimization of material handling at floor produce and with new layout can lessen material handling (distance load) becomes 12.762 blocks, which initially 17.883 blocks so that more efficiently in removing goods. Based on above conclusion, hence suggestion which can be given is be better if company soon does re-arranging is plant layout. Because would more efficiently if company apply alternative of plant layout proposal and company must do transfer of machine gradually that production process still run. Keyword: layout, efficiency
