Abstract
Indonesia represent one of the State in the world have resource involve representing the source of plasma nutfah and can be exploited to assemble pre-eminent varietas of future which is very supported development of agricultural sector. Relate to the hoisterous piracy of crop varietases hence formed by Law of Number 29th in Year 2000 About Protection Of Varietas Crop. In execution of Law Protection of Varietas Crop expected by role of institution or institute which in Departmental scope Agriculture to run role and its function give protection of adequate law to pre-eminent crop newly varietas. This writing aim to know, descripted and analyse role of BPTP in execution Protection Of Law To Right Owner Protection of Varietas Crop and also constraint faced by side of BPTP in execution Protection Of Law To Right Owner Protection of Varietas Crop. Approach method which is used in this writing method of yuridis sosiologic. As for data obtained to be analysed with method discripted qualitative. Role of BPTP in Protection Of Law To Right Owner Protection of Varietas Crop is examiner of subtansif to varietas asked by rights or protection of crop varietas. Besides personating examiner of side subtansif BPTP also personally investigator of functionary civil country to doing an injustice area protection of crop varietas ( PVT). In practice, role of BPTP as examiner of subtansif very effective this matter can be seen from varietases which have been tested by office of BPTP. However, still many crop varietases which still yet in registering by all sources. While in the case of as investigator of functionary of civil country not yet is effective of this matter because of there is no doing an injustice case it in area of PVT which have been handled by side of BPTP. Constraints of BPTP in doing of Protection Of Law To Right Owner Of Protection of Varietas Crop among others still lack of expert energy / researcher and still the limited equipments of examination had by BPTP. While other constraint still lack of socialization about Law Protection of Varietas Crop.
