Human being as social creature had to interact with the society. In the interaction process always facing with problems, hard or easy to cope that make individual tent to special personality and also can faced a borderline personality disorder. Borderline personality disorder will appears slows and step by step. This mental disorder can not injure someone in short time. This research is qualitative research with case study method pointing to etiology and consequence of borderline personality disorder to someone. The research subject is 1 person who already diagnosing have indicator as borderline personality disorder. Data collecting technique are interview and psychology test using TAT. Data analysis technique are data token research, and to legally data with data triangulation technique. The research result show that etiology of borderline personality disorder have psychology factors, psychology factors are unconsistent caringness method, separated with parent and childhood experience such as physically abuse so subject predict her environment that refuse and ignore then compulsive and threaten but also as human who give love and affections. The consequences are difficult to socialize so she have less of friends and be a drug user.
