Basically, every child has a free spirit and want to be free. Children also can develop properly because they have the freedom to explore, argue, also feel happy. This process should they go through in their lives, so that they can maximize their potential, as well as hone their intelligence in its growth and development. The success of a child is not separated from the role of parents. In order to achieve the expected child was actually materialize, then the role of parents in educating children. Education and proper care of the child would result in the birth of the effects of children's achievement. One of the most important things parents do is figure out what principles should be adhered to in order to be successful in educating children, parents, especially in the field of non-academic achievers. This research was conducted with qualitative methods. Data collection methods used is by way of semi-structured interviews. In analyzing the data, use the qualitative analysis by reducing the data (pick subject matter), presents data in the form of narrative, and making inferences. Techniques used for checking the validity of the data is triangulation. In the results of this study found that the recurring role of the role of parents is as: Educator, ie, as an educator who has always taught various things mostly related to growing talent in his son. Motivator of providing motivation or encouragement to kids that are always eager to participate in various activities. Supporters are always participate in every activity as a major supporter, so the children have a sense of confidence there while attending a variety of events that followed. Modeling of becoming a model for young leaders in realizing the ideals and expectations of its future. Facilitator of providing the facilities needed by children in order to optimize his talent so much easier for kids to learn, which needs to be done continuously.
