Terasi Cap Ikan Terbang production UD. Makmur Jaya is one of typical food coming from Gresik. This Terasi is made by UD. Makmur Jaya which is located in countryside of , subdistrict Sidayu, Gresik regency. This Company has owned many customers , besides conducting marketing in East Java region, UD. Makmur Jaya also conducts marketing in Central Java like, Solo, Jogja, and Rembang. But because of now a lot of emerging company of same terasi, hence need existence of improvement of quality of terasi to increase and maintain existing customer. Under color of the target which wish reaching from this research is to identify attribute from an product terasi of pursuant to consumer expectation and desire, and make an quality planning of product terasi pursuant to technical response[is which given high priority for company. Method used in this research is Quality Function Deplopment representing a peripheral of management which is focused on the consumer itï¿½s used as an appliance for the development identified at steps of early QFD and solvable before production process started. There are four steps in course of QFD that is product planning, scheme design, planning process, and process control. Here attribute of the desired of consumer is feeling, color, price, substance, tidiness and texture. From the processing yielded by attribute or desire of consumer which require to be developed for example hygienic tidiness (0,450), terasi feel prawn (0,446), feeling more delicate (0,740), aroma typically prawn (0,418), dark color (carmine / blackish) (0,307), substance from pure prawn (0,361), do not close the possibility of defended other attribute or is improved. Beside that priority of technical response which is made account of which must immediately in fulfilling for example multiply composition of elementary prawn upon which (271,7485), eliminating fish upon which mixture (258,0364), lessening composition of flour upon which mixture (179,8251), prawn dried by before processed to become terasi (86,6748), producing tidiness by self (80,8458), eliminating colorant of made in (67,7582), lessening salt (66,4409), and use paper arranged in layers with plastic as tidiness (54,2736).
