Abstract

Background : Stroke is a disease that cause high mortality in the world. In Indonesia, population of patient who have stroke reached 8.3 ‰. Highest risk factors that cause stroke is hypertension so needed a antihypertensive therapy, one of which is the class of Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB). Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the pattern of use Calcium Channel Blocker (CCB) in patients with hemorrhagic stroke hospitalizations in RSU Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang. Research Methods: This was an observational study, which employed a retrospective descriptive method. analysis was performed at January to December 2012 at RMK patients was diagnosed stroke hemorrhagic and CCB receiving antihypertensive therapy too. Results and Conclusions: Of the 54 samples, the CCB group most widely used in a sequence that is nicardipine 64%, nimodipine 12%, amlodipine 2%, and diltiazem 6%..
