General Election 2009 which was getting closer made society became information hunter about General Election 2009. Since people could find out further issues about General Election 2009 program information, political issues related with institutions and government organizations, also political parties in General Election 2009. Radio as aspiration distribution also bridged people relation with direct politic. Rule No.12 /2003 about General Election could mediate political issues which met people, government, institutions, government organizations, and political parties. From the phenomena, the writer eager to find out about General Election 2009 news in Evening Citra segment by using documentation technique. In Evening Citra segment news, there was some news, one of them was news about General Election 2009 packed in General Election 2009 Bulletin each day. From above explanation, the writer could formulate problems, how the tendency General Election 2009 news in Evening Citra General Election 2009 Bulletin news script at Citra FM Malang 1-28 February 2009 edition? The research aimed to find out the tendency Citra Malang News to General Election 2009 at general Election bulletin script news. To analyze General Election 2009 news Evening Citra at Citra FM Malang 1-28 February 2009 edition, the writer used contain analysis with quantitative descriptive approach. Scope of the research was news script of General Election 2009 Bulletin documented 1-28 February 2009 edition in Evening Citra segment at Citra Radio Malang broadcasted Monday to Friday 16.00-17.00. Analysis unit in the research was paragraph analysis in every script of General Election 2009 Bulletin 1-28 February 2009 edition. The whole news analyzed from 1-28 February 2009 edition were 20 news. Since analytical unit chosen were per paragraph, total coding and analyzed were 60 paragraph, while measurement unit in the research was category frequency in news script at General Election 2009 Bulletin 1-28 February 2009 edition which was general landscape to do calculation. From coding and analysis which was done, there found reability coefficient 0.80, while using Scott Formula was 0.77 or 77%. So, for tendency Supervisor Unit news object category, there found 19 paragraphs with 32% percentage, and General Election Committee was 32 paragraphs with 53% percentage, while for political party and candidates news object, there only 9 paragraphs with 15% percentage. For the second category, news theme, General Election Logistic from the table found 15 paragraphs with 25% percentage, while operational fund thme, there found 13 paragraphs with 22% paragraph, General Election Socialization theme showed 23 paragraphs 38% percentage, and political party and candidates theme showed 9 paragraphs with 15 % percentage. The third categories were opinion tendency. From the table there could be seen that negative opinion showed larger number than positive and neutral opinion showed 60 paragraphs analyzed. There was proven that negative opinion showed 26 paragraphs with 43% percentage, while positive opinion showed 21 paragraphs with 35 percentage, and neutral opinion showed 13 paragraphs with 22% percentage. The calculation showed that Direct Election 2009 news from Citra FM Radio Malang 1-28 February 2009 edition had equilibrium tendency, from the table, there could be seen that tendency of General Election Committee KPU news object was dominant, while news theme category was more dominant in General Election socialization and for dominant tendency opinion, that was negative opinion.
