Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of financial attitudes, locus of control, and income on financial behavior. The object of this research is active students of management study program in 2019 at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The method used in determining the sample is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used multiple regression analysis and descriptive statistics as well as the SPSS 23 application. The results of the study stated that financial attitudes had a positive and significant effect on the financial behavior of UMM Management Study Program students. Locus of control has a positive and significant effect on the financial behavior of UMM Management study program students. Income has a positive and significant effect on the financial behavior of UMM Management Study Program students. The dominant variable influencing the behavior finance variable is the income variable.
