Abstract

Literature is a performance in words. Literature has its own artistic quality to string the words into a beautiful work and introduces people to the new world of experience which makes them grow and evolve through the journey of reading the literary works. Gender is socio-cultural construction which determines an individual as a male or female. Gender and culture are attached one another and distinguish the different roles between both sexes. Gender inequality is an imbalance situation between male and female concerning with their rights, opportunity and status, which leads to injustice and causes disadvantages toward one gender.
