Abstract
Background : Chronic diarrhea appears in almost 50% HIV/AIDS patients and became important thing because it cause morbidity and mortality. Aim: To identify the profile of chronic diarrhea in HIV/AIDS patients. Method: Observational descriptive. The population are HIV AIDS patients with chronic diarrhea whose reported on medical record at saiful anwar hospital malang on 20072009 with total sampling technique. Result: From 53 sample of HIV AIDS patients with chronic diarrhea, most commonly are aged 3040 (67,9%), and women are more prevalent (67,9%). CD4 less than 200 results in 56,6% and died with CD4 under 200 are 50,9% Conclusion : HIV AIDS Patients with chronic diarrhea are more prevalent on age 3040, women are more prevalent than men.
