Abstract
Although experiencing flagging spirit, the spirit of the student press still can be expected. It is because in the era of industry press such as now, the media market should be strengthened and empowered so that the press functions as social control can still run. One of the elements that can remain being ideal is student press. That is one point discussed in limited discussion of the Deputy Chief Editor of Republika newspaper, Nasihin Masha, with 20 UMM student press functionaries on Friday (2/5).
