Abstract
Service quality and academic achievement of UMM have been increasingly recognized by public. It is proved by the increasing number of new student applicants this year. That was revealed by the Head of New Student Enrollment Unit (UPT PMB), Wasis SP, SH. M.Si, in his office, Tuesday (04/08). Wasis was optimistic that the number of new students would reach 5.700 in the academic year of 2010/2011. "We are very grateful. Although the state university increases the quota revenue for new student, we experience an increase too. Even, if it is including students of PJJ (long distance learning), overseas cooperation programs and postgraduate courses, it can be more than 6,000 students," he said confidently.
