Abstract

Cultural Institutions University of Muhammadiyah Malang (LK UMM) launched Cultural Studies Student Club (CSSC), Wednesday (2/17). CSSC is a group of students who have an interest in critical thinking, being intelligent of cross-discipline through cultural studies thought. The study being discussed uses a comprehensive perspective with the major theories of popular culture. Even so, the held activity is not only discussion, but also a variety of training, skills and tours. The presence of CSSC is expected to further increase the student’s scientific treasures which are not found in the lectures.
