Abstract

Background this research is by condition writing paragraph ability from fifth class student in Kertanegara high school is still low. In this matter coming by observation result, that in this school many student whose not understanding about that. The good paragraph writing is how to using selection word, determine sentence and punctuate, content expand appropriate with the topic. Problem in this research is how utilization Quantum Teaching Method can increase writing paragraph ability of student in fifth class in Kertanega ra high school, Malang, as good as a contemplation aspect, carrying out, observation, and reflection. The goal of this research is to increase ability writing paragraph the student of fifth class in Kertanegara high school, Malang through by Quantum Teaching. This research expects came in useful for teachers to learning process latter. For researcher expect can give insight, knowledge, and comprehension about Quantum Teaching method to increase ability writing paragraph the student. This research doing in collaborations between teacher and researcher. Indonesian Language and Literature Teacher and researcher collaborations to apply Quantum Teaching Method in order to increase paragraph writing ability students of fifth class in Kertanegara high school, Malang. In this research Indonesian Language and Literature Teacher as a teacher and researcher as a observer in a learning process. This research doing with 2 phenomenological, is qualitative phenomenological to describe writing learning process students and quantitative phenomenological to know students ability in writing paragraph to doing by Quantum Teaching. Research is doing in Kertanegara High School, Malang and the research object is students in fifth class in Kertanegara high school, Malang and Indonesian Language and Literature Teacher. The encode research data doing by Quantum Teaching and student behavior when learn writing paragraph, and writing paragraph ability. The data is acquiring by researcher from observation, test, and documentations. Student ability writing paragraph more good to increase from choose the word, spell and punctuate and content of conformity with topic. Presentatio n is getting before doing is 68,76% cycle 1 with presentation 76.23% and cycle 2 with presentation 83.23%.
