Home industry is a household industry produced tools to sell and gave contribution to society’s life. ‘Wayang’ decoration industry in Jombang residence was interesting to be discussed since the industry had export orientation. That’s why the writer did research titled: ‘Wayang’ Decoration Home Industry Prospect of UD. Sanggar Wayang Jaya Mojowarno Jombang Residence (Study at UD. Sanggar Wayang Jaya Mojowangi village, Mojowarno sub-district Jombang Residence). The research puspose was to find out how the prospect of ‘wayang’ decoration home industry and factors influenced home industry owner to defend the home industry. The research was benefit to develop ‘wayang’ decoration home industry and it could be suggestion for home industry owner to optimize Education and Culture Department and media as facility to promote ‘wayang’ decoration. The research was done in Mojowangi village, Mojowarno sub-district Jombang Residence, especially UD. Sanggar Wayang Jaya Mojowarno to see ‘wayang’ decoration home industry prospect and development. The research used qualitative approach and descriptive. The subject was the owner of UD. Wayang Jaya Mojowarno. Data collection method used observation, interview, and documentation supported the research. The research used descriptive analysis stated by Miles and Huberman, describing/explaining phenomena which became the research target. Supported by discussion according to sociology theory, that was rational act by Max Weber. Data analysis found from the interview and observation about prospect of ‘wayang’ decoration home industry was the owner saw home industry could be developed from perspective of progress customers amount. Since the targeted market had been wider and involved several countries. It could be seen that the home industry could be developed as the market more stabilize. Market spread was not optimum yet since media and Education and Culture Department had lack of support, caused the ‘wayang’ decoration only existed in recent market. One of the obstacle was low capital and no support from the government. Promotion used selling promotion and mass selling.
