Verzet is one of law efforts for party and parties that is unsatisfied toward court verdict of religion court because of injustice or faulty, also less satisfaction of demand and feel to be lost. Religion court is one of implementation agents of judicial power that has authority to discharge marriage case in divorve inclusive. Based on the case, the researcher wants to have research entitled ”The Implementation of Law Effort Against Religion Court Verdict (Verzet) in Divorce Case (Case Study in Religion Court in Malang)”. To get required data for this study, the researcher uses field research method. The researcherinterviewing the Judge and staffs of religion court in Malang, after the needed data is collected, the researcher analyzes it. The analysis that is used here is descriptive qualitative. The result of this research shows that divorce case in religion court Malang also have verzet. By verzet, it is very advantaging the befendant, where he feels unsatisfied with the verstek decision decided by the Judge, the he will against it. The process of verzet in Religion Court Malang has been over by theories in the procedure of civil law, and appropriate with law. The supporting factor of verzet is if the befendant submit the verzet based on the procedure arranged by law and he is able to show the proof. While the inhibitor factor of Verzet is if the befendant only elongating the process of divorce and he cannot show the proof to the Judge. Above all, if the befendant is not coming to the court even he has been called politely and officially. Thereby, the Judge would strengthen his verstek decision.
