Research this aim to study of composition media and dosage of NPK fertilizer which both for growth of Sansevieria trifasciati ”gild edge”. Benefit of research this can gave information of usage composition of media and dosage of NPK fertilizer which both for to growth of Sansevieria. Hypothesis anticipate there are significant effect interaction from composition media and dosage of NPK fertilizer to parameter growth of Sansevieria, anticipate the media composition can increase growth of Sansevieria, anticipate the dosage NPK fertilizer can increase the growth of Sansevieria. Research hold on Mulyoagung Dau in ± 560 dpl, this research was done in November 2008 to February 2009. The equipment that used in this research is hoe, plastic spoon, weight, ruler, caliper. The object of this research is the seedling sansevieria, NPK dekastar plus fertilizer, organic fertilizer, sand, polybag, charcoal of chaff, insektisida and dithane M45 fungicide. The experiment to used the random block design (RAK) by two factor that in 3 repetition. First factor is composition of media (M) which consist of 3 level that is: M1 media of sand:charcoal of chaff:organic fertilizer =1:1:1, M2 media of sand:charcoal of chaff:organic fertilizer =2:1:1, M3 media of sand :charcoal of chaff:organic fertilizer =3:1:1. Second Factor is dosage of NPK fertilizer which consist of 4 level that is: D0 control without fertilization, D1 dosage of fertilizer 2 g/plant, D2 dosage of fertilizer 4 g/plant, D3 dosage of fertilizer 6 g/plant. Result of the experiment showed that there were significant interaction between of composition media and dosage of NPK dekastar plus fertilizer to parameter number of juvenile, number of leaf, wide leaf and wet weight of plant. Combination of media of sand :charcoal of chaff:organic fertilizer =1:1:1 with dosage 6 g/plant give the which result good.
