Abstract

In this study, researchers raised the issue about how the implementation of article 54 of Law No. 23 of 2002 on Protection of Children against child abuse in the Public Elementary School (SDN), a District of Pasuruan Bangil and how their impact on the educators (teachers) and students ( students). This study uses sociological and juridical approach using quantitative descriptive method of data analysis. The research found that the implementation of article 54 of Law No. 23 year 2002 on child abuse in the Public Elementary School (SDN), a District of Pasuruan adequate Bangil the impact of the implementation of the educator is an educator inspire the development of the child according to the age of the child, educators increasingly know and understand about the limits of giving punishment to the students, while the impact of the implementation of article 54 of Law number 23 year 2002 against the student or protege proteges become more confident, develop in accordance with the development ages, enhance freedom in self-actualization protege. Suggestions for the police investigators should enter into an agreement with the institution of education unit on a regular basis so that the scope of the Protection of Children Act can be interpreted and understood by the institutions so as to improve the educational unit for the protection of legal awareness of violence against children in schools, while educators must be more attention to the development of students and understand the things that cause students to make mistakes so that in the implementation of sanctions against the students could be more wisely so it does not happen again sentencing system that would lead to suffering in children.
