Abstract

Media news agenda often influence society agenda, and what is the media think is important, it will be think important too by society. As a electronic media that have the quality in audio visual, television as delivery many kind of program have ability to make a general opinion, so it cause many kind of idea appear and make a changing of attitude. So, this research use setting of agenda, base on study to know do the attack of the media ( Kick Andy Program ) can influence the inspiration of audience. Public television channel try to make a interesting program and society will like this, is like “ Kick Andy” that show up in Metro TV. This program is talk show program that different with the others. “Kick Andy” is a talk show not only give an information, but also it can be source of inspiration for the audiences. In order to, we can through our life carefully and can choose everything that is goog or bad for our life. The observation in this research are (1) what is the influence Kick Andy program to the inspiration of audience ? (2) how much the influence Kick Andy program to the inspiration of audience ?. The type research that use in this research is eksplanatory research is the research to know about the relationship between the hypothesis variable with quantitative approach, which in this research stressed in numeral analysis. This research use the qualitative research because in the hypothesis is have a relation between variable (X) and variable (Y) (Sugiono, 1999 : 11). The object of research are the undergraduate student in Faculty of Economy, 2006 period and 2007 period Faculty of Teacher and Trainning Education at University of Jember. Whereas the sample of the research is 62 people was get by survey, is the research that take a population and then use the questionnaire as a data primer. After that, the technique of sample is done by total sampling, this technique is take all the population as the sample. Then, the questionnaire will be test in the validitas level with use correlation product moment technique and the reliabilitas test with the alpha technique. The analysis of data that use regression to know the influence between the attack of Kick Andy program to the audience inspiration and the coefficient determination analysis to know how much the influence of variable (X) and Variable (Y). Based on the resulf. We get the coefficient correlation (r) that show the relation between (dependent variable) that is the attack of Kick Andy program with (independent variabel), is the audience inspiration with r score correlation 0,612. Base on the analysis resulf of regression linear, we get f score 36,019. Because f arithmetic > F table, is 36,019 > 4,00, so, the relation between the attack of Kick Andy program with the audience inspiration is signifikan. It means Ho is rejected and Hi is received, so we can conclude that the attact of Kick Andy program can influence signifikanly to the inspiration of undergraduated students in faculty of Economy, UNEJ ( University of Jember). In other word , if the attack of Kick Andy program is increase, so the inspiration of undergraduate students in Faculty of Economy at University of Jemberis increase too. We can get the coefficient determination is 0,375, it mens that 37,5 % is the influence of Kick Andy program to the inspiration of undergraduate students in faculty of Economy at University of Jember, whereas the remnant is 62,5 % is the audience inspirations influenced by the other variable that didn’t study in this research.
