Cooperative learning model can be applied to motivate students dare to find their opinion, value the opinions of friends, and give each other opinions. Also in mathematics learning are faced with a lot of practice questions and troubleshooting. From this it is done for the purpose of this study: 1) knowing how the students of class IV activity SDN Cokrokembang II in the implementation of cooperative learning model type TAI; 2) to know how the math problem-solving ability that was seen from the results of learning with the implementation of cooperative learning model type Fourth graders TAI SDN Cokrokembang II. The material is taken in this research material related to addition and subtraction of fractions. Types of qualitative research is descriptive. The subjects were students of class IV Cokrokembang II SDN 2009/2010 school year as many as 14 students. Data about student activities in the implementation of the learning model was collected through observation of student activity sheets, while data on mathematical problem-solving abilities collected through formative test at the end of each competency. As a supporter, student response data on the implementation of cooperative learning model type TAI students were taken through the questionnaire responses. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The result of applying the model of cooperative learning researchers TAI type (team-assisted individualization) showed that students in the learning activity is fair with a total average score of 2.87. Individual mastery learning classical SKBM already above that is equal to 85.71%. While for the very kind of mastery learning is categorized by the percentage of 80.89%. Students responded positively to the implementation of cooperative learning model type with a mean TAI percentage of students who agree on the questionnaire I amounted to 96.57% and the percentage of students who agree on the second questionnaire was obtained at 98.58%.
