Abstract

This study titled "Effectiveness of Credit Management and the Effect on Profitability (Case Study On Credit Unions" Artha Pudhi "Nganjuk)." The purpose of this study was to examine how the effectiveness of credit management at the Cooperative "Artha Pundhi" Nganjuk and to examine how the effect of the credit management of profitability achieved in the cooperative "Artha Pundhi" Nganjuk. In this study, an analysis tool used is the profitability ratios, including net profit margin and the ratio of activities which include receivables turnover (receivable turnover) and the average age of receivables (Age of Receivable analysis). While the data used in this study is the documentation, which is a technique of data collection using forms reports and records obtained in the company. Based on the analysis of profitability ratio of net profit margin achieved Credit Unions "ARTHA PUNDHI" Nganjuk for three years or less good because it is still below the standard interest rate of Bank Indonesia. This means that the cooperative is less efficient in processing their funds. This occurs because the performance of credit cooperatives in the management of any delay in the return of many accounts so that low levels of profitability achieved. Based on the results of cooperative activity ratio analysis has been assessed less well, because in the calculation of receivables turnover is less than the standards imposed by the cooperative and the average age of accounts receivable greater than the standards imposed by the cooperative.
