Abstract

Times Regoyo receive material from the eruption of Mount Semeru with volume ± 6 million m3, or nearly 10% of the total estimate of the secondary material into lava. One of the efforts undertaken in order to control sediment flow and reduced sediment supply is to detain and hold until the flow of lava or sediment in a relatively long time can lead to silting in the middle and downstream areas. To avoid the danger of disaster caused by lava flows of Mount Semeru, the created building sediment control, among others, lava sand bags. To reduce the peak discharge of sediment due to the volume control can be planned to determine the dimensions and number of gaps. In other words the dimension and the number of gaps affect large volumes of sediment control. The smaller the gap dimensions and fewer gaps, the greater volume of sediment control. After the peak discharge planning (Q) of 357.397 m3/s in the can from the calculation, it can be planned dimensions of the bag Drempel lava. From the calculations, that high draft 6.5 m, width 4 m crow's main dam, the upstream slope of the downstream slope of 1:0,9 and 1:0,2, peluap base width 100 m, water surface elevation and height of 1.524 m surveillance 1.2. Sub-3.34 m high dam, the width of the dam crow sub 3 m, the slope of the upstream slope of 1:0,9 and 1:0,2 distance downstream of the dam and main dam is 25 m sub with thick floor (Apron) 1.5 m, the volume of sediment static = 910,560.345 m3, the volume of sediment dynamic = 1.204.847.909 m3, the volume of sediment that must be set = 294,287.564 m3. Looking at the complexity of sediment and behavior problems, then the response against the possibility of flooding in the area of lava Regoyo times must pay attention to the condition and behavior of existing sediment.
