Hidram pump is a mechanical system for lifting water from low places leading to a higher place by utilizing the potential energy of water resources that are drawn. Hidram pump has many advantages both in terms of technological and economical terms. This pump works on the principle of hammer-water (water hammer). When the fluid flow is stopped abruptly, then the mass of the fluid momentum change would increase the pressure too suddenly. Increased pressure is used to lift some of the fluid is to place higher. Hidram pump is an alternative that is good enough to overcome the water needs in the area that is still far from sources of energy. The purpose of the analysis and simulation is to determine the effectiveness of the design of the pump hidramcolumbia type. From the analysis results obtained from pressure Water Pump HidramHamer on the design of this type columbia are 23.0783 Bar, discharge the output until 1:05 liters / sec and pump efficiency is 18%.
