Abstract
Narcotic abuse could be cured by using certain medicine which functioned as subtitution. The medicine called subutex. In this research, the writer discuss factors influenced an addict in using subtitution medicine and his effort in overcome narcotic addiction. The research was done by the writer in Sadar Hati Organization and SOB Cafe, subject’s house, and subject friend’s house. Respondent who became subject was user of subtition medicine(subutex) who overdose it and needle user which often used to inject subtition medicine into body. Data collection were done through observation and interview. Data analysis was done by qualitative descriptive. From the research there could be found that subject inhibition in stopping subutex usage were: (1) subject needs to stop using drugs was low, so that influenced cure procedure through therapy; (2) subject high affection needs cause subject difficult to stop using subutex as one of his affection source, also supporting environment to use subutex. Where in his rehabilitation process, subject interacted with all addictors who used subutex, supporting medical environment, and also supporting family who considered subutex as part of rehabilitation. (3) subutex was legal and easy to get. Subject selfcontrol was low to avoid subutex. It based on high affiliation needs in himself. To overcome the afiliation, subject consumed subutex. The reality supported by situation and condition where subutex could be found legally and easily.
