Abstract
The rapid growth of Small and Medium Enterprises in Indonesia is inseparable from the role of Small and Medium Industries. Contribution of labor donated by one unit in, it can be the highest compared with other Small and Medium Enterprises units. But out of the context problem, the Small and Medium Industries is still struggling with the classic problem that has long been rooted in him, namely bookkeeping business that still profanity. Business people in the Small and Medium Industries still not able and willing to arrange an orderly bookkeeping business and in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. Not having enough knowledge in the field of accounting is a major issue that developed at this time. Limited knowledge within the field of accounting means paying experts in the areas that are not so effective akauntansi conducted by Small and Medium Industries effort considering the relatively small circulation. Therefore we need to design an automated system of accounting information with a simple technology, so that entrepreneurs in the Small and Medium Enterprises is able to easily compile its own financial statements, without having much understanding of accounting concepts. This research aims to create a design model based accounting information system computer (Ms. Excel) that is more specific on the reporting cycle, so that entrepreneurs in the bookkeeping Small and Medium Industries able to compile their own efforts in accordance with the basic concepts of accounting. To get a picture of the system design model researchers trying to design an accounting information system design which depends on the case in the UD. Ternak Unggul Malang. The results of this study indicate that the design of computer-based accounting information system (Ms. Excel) is feasible to be implemented by UD. Ternak Unggul Malang.
