Abstract

Purpose of this study is to examine the influence of training toward employeesÂ’ performance. Data was collected by distributing questionnaire to 60 employees. Analysis method used by this study is scale range t test and Simple Linear Regression by using SPSS 13. Hypothesis test used by this study is student's t test. Result of this study on scale range shows that the implementation of training included in good criteria by average score of 178,75. The result of analysis on performance scale range included in high criteria by average score of 168,20. The predicted results of this study obtained by the method of Simple Linear Regression show that there is a great influence between the variable training and variable employeesÂ’ performance. The result of simple linear regression calculation conducted, it shows the influence of independent variable toward dependent variable is large, it can be seen on determination coefficient value (R2 ) of 0,611 and after being adjusted it becomes adjust R2 square of 0,604 that shows training gives contribution of 61,1 % toward employees performance, while the rest of 38,9% is contribution from other variable that is not used in this study. In summary, training has a considerable contribution to employee performance on PT PLN in service and network area of Kediri, in addition, itÂ’s expected to improve effectivity in carrying out the task so that corporate objects can be achieved.
