Abstract

Viscosity or viscocity of lubricant oil is measuring of the flownoss of liquid thing from lubricant oil, measured in standart measurement . When the rejection to flow is higher, it means that the viscosity is higher. Viscosity is one of element on the most fragile oil lubricant composition, because it related with the thickness of lubricant oil or how much the resistention to flow. The viscocity of lubricant oil dealing with how far the lubricant oil is useful as lubricant and become a protector of colliding between metal surface. (www.ccitonline.com) The research have a goal to know the influence of temperature changing faced viscocity of lubricant oil, lubricant oil used in this research that is SAE 20W-50, SAE 40 and SAE 50. With the temperature changing 60-110 oC. This result of research got by viscocity test by using viscometer rotation. After the research has been done, apparently the 3 lubricant oil viscocity are very influence with temperature, if the given temperature is higher, so the viscocity index is lower
