This research purpose to know: (1) teacher and student activity on application of type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model to increase ability on “ dimensi tiga” materials in Muhammadiyah 2 Malang Vocation School, and student’s ability in mathematics solving problem on “Dimensi Tiga” materials by using cooperative learning especially on of type Numbered Heads Together. This research use qualitative approach with descriptive research. The data taken is the result of teacher activities observasion, student activity, and result of ability student test on problem solving. While, the sources in this research is 10th grade students of banking administration skill and the teacher who teachs mathematics in Muhammadiyah 2 Malang Vocation School, that become research object is 10th grade student of banking administration skill which number 30 students and mathematics teacher in Muhammadiyah 2 Malang Vocation School, and the teacher is the researcher. From the result of researcher done shows that the average mark of teacher activity after the four times meeting is about 78,12%. Because of the procentation of teacher activity is between interval 70% until 84%, so the teacher activity in learning process is including “good” category. Moreover, student activity from the first meeting until fourth meeting is always increase which the average procentation of student activity after fourth times meeting is amount of 85,10%. Because of the procentation of student activity is between interval 85% until 100%, so the student activity in learning process is including “very good” category. The average mark of the ability student on “dimensi tiga” problem solving by using cooperative learning especially type of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) done four times meeting is amount of 79,91%. Because of the procentation of student ability on “dimensi tiga” problem solving is between interval 70% until 84%, so the teacher activity in the learning process is “good” category. Based on the result of the research, it can be suggestioned that it can be done research continually by joining cooperative learning model NHT with others learning model and in the higest level againt.
