Abstract

Jamur tiram putih (Pleirotus ostreatus) merupakan jamur yang mempunyai prospek baik untuk dikembangkan sebagai diversifikasi bahan pangan. Budidaya jamur tiram menggunakan serbuk kayu, penggunaan serbuk kayu secara terus menerus merupakan masalah bagi pembudidaya jamur, kerena minimnya penghasil serbuk kayu yang disebabkan kelangkaan kayu sehingga harga meningkat. Media alternatif pengganti serbuk kayu adalah pemanfaat ampas teh yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi yang diserap oleh jamur tiram. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan ampas teh terhadap hasil produksi jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pusat Pengembangan Bioteknologi Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Muhammadiyah pada tanggal 20 Pebruari 2015 sampai 20 April 2015. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang diberikan limbah ampas teh (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) dengan serbuk gergaji (95%, 90%, 85%, 80%), dengan kontrol 100% serbuk gergaji. Parameter yang diamati adalah berat basah, jumlah badan buah dan diameter tudung jamur tiram. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang sangat nyata dengan penambahan ampas teh pada media tanam terhadap produksi jamur tiram putih (Pleurotus ostreatus). Hasil produksi jamur tiram putih yang paling tinggi adalah perlakuan A4 (80% serbuk gergaji+ 20% ampas teh) dengan hasil rata-rata berat basah 74,83 gram, jumlah buah rata-rata 24,30 buah dan diameter tudung denga rata-rata 5,99 cm White oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is a fungus that has good prospects for development as food diversification. Cultivation of oyster mushroom using sawdust, sawdust use a continuous basis is a problem for growers of mushrooms, because they lack a producer of sawdust resulting wood scarcity so that prices are rising. Medium alternatives to sawdust are beneficiaries of tea waste which contains nutrients that are absorbed by the oyster mushroom. This study aims to determine the effect of tea dregs of the production of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). This research was conducted at the Center for Biotechnology Development, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah on 20 February 2015 until 20 April 2015. The research design used was a completely randomized design (CRD). Sewage treatment given tea waste (5%, 10%, 15%, 20%) with sawdust (95%, 90%, 85%, 80%), with 100% control of sawdust. Parameters measured were fresh weight, number of fruit bodies and oyster mushroom cap diameter. Results and discussion shows there is a very real effect with the addition of tea waste to the growing media to the production of oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). The production of white oyster mushroom the highest is A4 treatment (80% sawdust + 20% dregs of tea) with an average yield of 74,83 grams wet weight, the average number of fruit 24,30 pieces and the diameter of the hood with an average of 5.99 cm
