Abstract
Police are members of the public who is authorized to use force to protect people in situations in which lawful. Situations involving the use of power often requires police officers to make decisions in a very dynamic situation. The writing is taking the problem formulation, how is the implementation of the provisions of article 8 and 9 Police Regulation No. 1 Year 2009 regarding the use of firearms in police action in the Police in Malang, and how the accountability of the implementation of Article 8 and 9 Police Regulation No. 1 Year 2009 regarding the use of firearms in action Police Police in Malang. Writing use sociological method juridical approach. Location research in Police Malang. Source of data used include the source of Primary and Secondary data. Technique data gathering interview with respondents and documentation originating from Members Police Malang, later research finding analyzed descriptive qualitative. Based on this research, the implementation of Article 8 and 9 Police Regulation No. 1 Year 2009 regarding the use of firearms in police action undertaken only if the police officer's life is threatened by criminal actions, are accountable in a way to make a report for review by the Provost and then handed over to Kapolresta to be evaluated. In conclusion, the implementation of the provisions of Article 8 and 9 Police Regulation No. 1 Year 2009 regarding the use of firearms in the police action carried out only reasonable and sensible to have the possibility to stop actions that threaten the lives of offenders and the community police officers.
