Abstract

This type of research is conducted survey research, where researchers conduct research in Section UHUTALAKAP Bureau of Public Administration and Finance, State University of Surabaya with the title "The Effect of Leadership Styles on Employee Performance in Public Administration and Finance Bureau of the State University of Surabaya". The purpose of this study is to describe how the leadership style and employee performance in Section UHUTALAKAP State University of Surabaya. The analytical tool used to describe the leadership style and employee performance that is using Scale Range. To analyze the effect of leadership style on employee performance using multiple regression analysis. Using the test with F test and T test The results of the hypothesis test analysis showed that leadership style is included in the category of very high, evidenced by an average score scale range that is equal to 192 task behavior and relationship behavior that is equal to 188,4. Employee performance is very high, indicated by the average value of the range of the scale at 198. Dimensions of task behavior and relationship behavior dimensions have a significant effect on the performance of employees in Section UHUTALAKAP Bureau of Public Administration and Finance, State University of Surabaya. This is evidenced by the F count> F table (32.3> 3.15). Variable dimension relationship behavior that most affect the performance of employees in Section UHUTALAKAP Bureau of Public Administration and Finance, State University of Surabaya, based on a comparison of regression coefficients for the dimensions of the task behaviors 0.0305, 0.444 and behavioral dimensions of the relationship.
