Abstract

The purpose of this study are: 1) to know the financial performance of Bangun Jaya Makmur Coop Madiun during the period of 2006-2011. 2) to know the differences of KSP financial performance before and after the implementation of credit policies. The significances of the study, especially for the management of the coop are expected to provide recommendations to the management in the proper planning and as a consideration in the making of policy for coop development. The results of this research is that KSP Financial performance Bangun Jaya Makmur Coop Madiun before applying credit policy in the category of less healthy as indicated by the score of 48.6 in 2006, 2007 and 2008 amounted to 47.85 by 48.5 included in the range 40 x <60 that qualify as less healthy. The result of analysis performance of the coop after the implementation of the credit policy in the category of less healthy as indicated by the score of the year 2009 was 51.05, in 2010 and 2011 was 49.9, 52.25 are included in the range of 40 x <60 that qualify as less healthy. There are significant differences between the financial performance before and after implementation of credit policy, as indicated by the value of t count > t table (2.499> 2.0128). Suggestions that can be submitted in this research are the management is expected to apply the policy consistently associated with the lending to members, those efforts made to provide a guarantee that the policy is able to provide support in maximizing the profit / SHU that would be obtained by the coop. In an effort to provide the guarantee that the lending activities can be run in accordance with established procedures then it is expected that the management will always work in accordance with the provisions so that the eligible customers will get the credit.
