Abstract

This study entitled Effect of Motivation and Employee Performance Against ability. This study aims to (1) describe the motivation and ability to influence employee performance, (2) examine the effect of motivation on employee performance and skills, (3) view among variables of motivation and a greater ability to influence employee performance. Population and samples in this study were 30. This research is a descriptive study using the interview and questionnaire as the principal means of collecting data. Engineering samples are total sampling. Source data obtained from primary and secondary data. In this study, the authors take a hypothesis: that presumably significant effect between motivation and ability on employee performance. The analysis tool used is multiple linear regression hypothesis testing F test and t test. The results of the analysis indicate that the motivation scale range is in the very high category. Ability and performance at the high category. The advice can be given that employee motivation needs to be maintained because it goes very high category. Low because of the easy ability least receive new skills and therefore need to be improved. Employee performance regarding the timeliness needs to be revisited so that no employees who are not on time for work. Given the influence of motivation and the ability to have a very significant effect, it is recommended for other researchers to develop into other more complex variables using a sharper analysis.
