Abstract

The hospital is one of health care providers who have an important role in meeting community needs for health. The hospital has a social function as a place where patients must choose to be able to recover disease through health services are expected (Keswadji, 2002:157). The hospital was founded in order to provide health care in the form of examination, treatment, medical and other diagnostic measures required by each patient within the limits of technological capability and the means provided by the hospital. Therefore, hospitals are supposedly able to move, organize, and coordinate activities of various groups of professionals, semi professionals and non-professional personnel available, so as to achieve the set target. The purpose of this study was to determine if the patient's family was satisfied with the service RSIA (Mother and Child Hospital) Fauziah Tulungagung. And to find out what the main priorities of the patient's family of five service quality variables (physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and attention) RSIA (Mother and Child Hospital) Fauziah Tulungagung. This study uses qualitative data is data that a picture or information, then the data is processed into quantitative data that is data in the form of numbers and descriptions are nantiya will be able to support or strengthen the research object. Population and sample in this study were patients' relatives who accompany patients during their admission to the Hospital of Maternal and Child Fauziah Tulungagung in December 2011 to January 2012 as many as 100 respondents. The study states that the assessment of patients' families about satisfaction with the services of Maternal and Child Hospital Fauziah is below expectations of the patient's family. These results can be concluded that the patient's family was not satisfied with the services of Maternal and Child Hospital Fauziah Tulungagung. Being the cartesian diagram analysis for each variable patient satisfaction with the service the family Mother and Child Hospital Fauziah can be concluded that the priority attention of the patient's family is variable. This follows from the results of Importance and Performance Analysis of a then applied to the cartesian diagram.
